Among various factors affecting the patients’ QoL, the particularly important seems to be the health-related QoL (HRQoL). HRQoL can be understood as the measurable characteristic, which indicates the patient’s ability to preserve normal lifestyle during and after the therapy. Evaluation of HRQoL is most often based on the Qaly factor calculation, which covers several aspects of a patient’s lifestyle and recalculates them into points, used to obtain the total monetary benefit of the patient’s healthy year of life.</p> ER -
