Abstract
Abstract
The most common malignancies observed in paediatric patients are leukemia, lymphoma, central nervous system (CNS) malignant neoplasms and neuroblastoma. Increasing number of new cases of the diseases and limited sensitivity and specificity of the conventional imaging methods in this important and susceptible group of patients suggest the necessity to include the advanced imaging procedures into clinical management, among which radioisotope examinations seem to be valuable.
