Abstract

The study aims to show that despite the non-tumor-specific properties of the radiopharmaceutical 2-deoxy-2-[18F]fluoro-D-glucose (18F-FDG), performing the 18F-FDG positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) might help to detect primary and metastatic brain lesions, which can significantly affect treatment and quality of life of the oncological patients’.
