Abstrakt
Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie najnowszych trendów i doniesień związanych z zastosowaniem brachyterapii w leczeniu raka piersi przedstawionych podczas 38 Konferencji Europejskiego Towarzystwa Radioterapii Onkologicznej (ang. European SocieTy for Radiotherapy and Oncology, ESTRO), która odbyła się w Mediolanie (Włochy) w dniach 26-30 kwietnia 2019 roku. W opracowaniu zawarte są informacje na temat przeprowadzonych sesji, sympozjów, debat, prezentacji ustnych oraz plakatowych wyróżnionych abstraktów dotyczących zastosowania brachyterapii w leczeniu raka piersi.
