Abstrakt
The ovarian cancer is the seventh most commonly diagnosed cancers and the fourth cause of death due to the oncological disease. Due to a high tumours’ aggressiveness, the fast and precise diagnostic management is vital for the therapy to be successful. Among the available diagnostic methods, used for detection, staging and therapy planning, the particularly useful seem the radioisotope imaging techniques, mainly the positron emission tomography/computer tomography (PET/CT).
