Abstrakt
Artykuł przedstawia początki Medycyny Nuklearnej jako jednej najintensywniej ewoluujących dziedzin medycyny, fizyki, chemii oraz inżynierii medycznej. Europejska medycyna nuklearna, ze względu na podłoże historyczne i polityczne, mające duży wpływ na kształtowanie się wszystkich gałęzi nauki na kontynencie, należy bez wątpienia do jednego najciekawszych wątków w medycynie światowej. Złożoność genezy i ewolucji medycyny nuklearnej stanowi doskonały przykład kreatywności europejskich badaczy.
This article describes Nuclear Medicine as one of most intensively developing medical, physical, chemical and engineering field of science. European Nuclear Medicine as undoubtedly one of most interesting topics in the medical world, deserves closer attention because of its complex historical and political origin which had great influence on establishing the branch of science on the continent.
